Flugelhorn Mouthpieces
Flugelhorn mouthpieces are available as:
One Piece Standard Taper
Individual pieces are compatible with other manufacturers. Rims and underparts have Bach threads (other threadings are available as a special order).
Flugelhorn mouthpieces are available in two shank sizes:
Standard Taper: fits Yamaha, Getzen, Callet, Benge, King, Conn, Weril, Holton, other "American" flugelhorns (not Bach).
Bach Taper: fits Bach, Olds, Courtois, LeBlanc, most Kanstuls.

*The standard taper shank that is paired with the FD cup is shorter and has a more parabolic backbore than the standard taper shank that is paired with the F cup. This is to balance the extra depth of the FD cup in regard to playability and overall pitch on the flugelhorn. Both Standard Taper shanks work on flugelhorns requiring standard tapers.
