Harmonic "Shapes" for FCB Trumpet Backbores*
Each graph contains the harmonics (in line graphs to create "harmonic shapes") of the trumpet timbre produced while using the corresponding backbore. The data contains harmonic shapes for three pitches; low C (233Hz), C (466Hz), and high C (932Hz) on Bb trumpet. Also, at three dynamics; piano, mezzo forte, and forte. This information is another way to compare backbores and to help the prospective buyer find the best backbore for their use(s). Careful inspection reveals detailed behavior of the backbores at the various pitches and dynamics.
